Gutenberg Visits The World Public Library

Michael Hart the founder of Project Gutenberg visited the World Public Library over winter break. He brought with him a CD of the Widger Library. The Widger Library is approximately 2,500 eBooks Dr. David Widger had made for Project Gutenberg. These eBooks are of exceptional quality and filled with scanned images from illustrated pages. While in Hawaii, Professor Hart congratulated the World eBook Library and Hawaii eBook Library for their efforts in promoting the Project Gutenberg eBook Collection on a global scale.
