Area code 302

Area code map of Delaware

Area code 302 is the only telephone area code for the U.S. state of Delaware. It is one of the original area codes established in 1947 for the North American Numbering Plan.

Delaware shares a LATA with Philadelphia and the Pennsylvania side of the Delaware Valley. Despite this, and the rapid growth of the northern part of the state, 302 is not projected to exhaust until 2029.
