The Fifty-sixth Parliament of the United Kingdom is the legislature that will be convened following the next general election. This election will be of Members of Parliament (MPs) to the House of Commons which, along with the House of Lords, composes the Parliament of the United Kingdom. The new Parliament will meet officially following its State opening by the British Monarch.

Under the terms of the Fixed-term Parliaments Act 2011 the election must be held on 7 May 2015, unless Parliament itself orders an earlier date.
