This is a list of countries receiving foreign aid based on the official development assistance (ODA) they have received for the given year.
Although development aid rose in 2013 to the highest level ever recorded, a trend of a falling share of aid going to the neediest sub-Saharan African countries continued.[1]
The figures shown are based on OECD measures and definitions of international aid.[2] Two OECD sub-types of aid are included - official development assistance (ODA), and official aid (OA) received.[3] Amounts are in current U.S. dollars.[4]
