The Pennsylvania gubernatorial election of 1808 occurred on November 8, 1808. Incumbent Independent Democratic governor Thomas McKean was not a candidate. Democratic-Republican candidate Simon Snyder defeated Federalist candidate James Ross to become Governor of Pennsylvania.
