Shankarlal Banker

Shankarlal Banker was an Indian independence movement activist. He was one of the first most loyal recruits of Mahatma Gandhi, and had a major role to play in the textile labour struggle in Ahmedabad. On March 10, 1922, Gandhiji and Shankarlal Banker, as producer and editor of Gandhi's newspaper Young India, were accused for treason and arrested.[1][2]
